Caring and Feeding Your New WearPittsburgh T-shirt!

Many of you who have placed the first orders with us should have already received your brandy-new t-shirts! We hope you love your new apparel, and that it becomes a valued and cherished part of your everyday wardrobe.

In order to insure that it maintains a long life, here are some recommending washing/cleaning instructions for your new shirt:

  • T-shirts should be washed inside out and set on a gentle machine cycle in cold water.
  • When drying: Tumble dry on low heat. (Make sure you are not inside the shirt at that time.)
  • To avoid possible shrinkage: Lay flat to dry. (This can also apply if you have just finished swimming in cold water.)
  • To maintain the life of the design, t-shirts should be ironed inside out on a low heat setting without the use of steam. This step also aids in refreshing the colors in the design. (This may also mean you should not wear it into a steam room.)
  • Dry cleaning is not recommended. (This will only anger your t-shirt.)

The rule of thumb is that as long as you do everything inside out you probably will be fine as long as you don’t wear it that way.

We hope you enjoy your new purchases for yourself or for your loved ones!

I received my two shirts in the mail last week quite promptly and with additional Christmas cheer of red and green Andes mints to celebrate the holidays. Unfortunately I had to send them back to exchange sizes but when I contacted customer service they were so helpful and quick in responding to me. The shirts run a bit small. I am not a large girl and the XL was like painted on my body. But no worries. I can’t wait to get the XXLs in the mail. This is the only time, ever in my life, I have not had a problem wearing a bigger size!! Thanks for being so helpful and making awesome shirts!!
