Two product updates today at WearPittsburgh!

The first is that The Hill design is now available in Men’s! You can celebrate the Hill District in your own way by picking up one among the wide variety of products available.

The second is for you big guys out there (and those who love them)! We now offer XXXL shirts in all of our designs and are now available for purchase. So if you’re looking to pick one up for someone special or are just looking for yourself, check them out today!

Many of you who have placed the first orders with us should have already received your brandy-new t-shirts! We hope you love your new apparel, and that it becomes a valued and cherished part of your everyday wardrobe.

In order to insure that it maintains a long life, here are some recommending washing/cleaning instructions for your new shirt:

• T-shirts should be washed inside out and set on a gentle machine cycle in cold water.
• When drying: Tumble dry on low heat. (Make sure you are not inside the shirt at that time.)
• To avoid possible shrinkage: Lay flat to dry. (This can also apply if you have just finished swimming in cold water.)
• To maintain the life of the design, t-shirts should be ironed inside out on a low heat setting without the use of steam. This step also aids in refreshing the colors in the design. (This may also mean you should not wear it into a steam room.)
• Dry cleaning is not recommended. (This will only anger your t-shirt.)

The rule of thumb is that as long as you do everything inside out you probably will be fine as long as you don’t wear it that way.

I’d like to welcome everyone who is visiting from the Post-Gazette after reading about WearPittsburgh! It’s a very exciting time and we appreciate your interest in our products! Your response has been terrific!

Due to overwhelming demand, we are moving up our release date for Men’s styles of McKees Rocks Dance Academy shirts to this evening!

All of the feedback on the shop and products are very much appreciated.  I know there’s some kinks in the shop interface, which we’ll be working to get righted as soon as possible. The store is still getting its sea legs, but keep the comments coming so we can make it a much better experience for all of you.
