WearPittsburgh is attending (and sponsoring) PodCamp Pittsburgh 3 this weekend! For those of you who are not in the know, PodCamp is:

a community UnConference for people who create, enjoy or are interested in learning more about blogs, vlogs, audio podcasts, web video, content networks and new media monetization.

Our plan to return shortly after our last post got sidelined due to some unexpected developments. We have a new member of the WearPittsburgh family on her way, and there were some complications for Mom. Everyone is OK now, and all systems are go for a July arrival.

To celebrate this very special delivery, we are offering two new maternity shirts celbrating the lil’ pierogi that is on the way!

It should be noted that these shirts are definitely not form fitting and are more of a tent shape.

In any case – we’re back and launching new products again. With the first one starting…. now!

Thank you to all of you who sent e-mails wondering about our recent inactivity, and we’re sorry to say that we were “unavoidably detained”. In the words of one writer, it’s been ridiculous and has taken us too long to allow for your ideas to be heard and to release some new designs and we agree.  So Monroeville, this one’s for you!

In some exciting WearPittsburgh news, our products were featured as auctionable items at the American Heart Association Heart Ball in late February here in Pittsburgh.  Our “Reserved Parking”, “Pierogi”, and “Mon Valley Mullet Reserve” shirts were offered to the highest bidder and helped out for a worthy cause.  Thank you to MC Houser and the rest of the staff at the AHA for allowing us to participate!

We’re now allowing ideas to be submitted for future designs here at WearPittsburgh, and we’re offering $50 per idea for those that are selected!  Please use this form to submit whatever you think would make a great t-shirt for WearPittsburgh.  Not only will you get a check, but we’ll give you recognition on our blog when we announce the design!
